Recognized nationally for excellence in ballet training and dance education, and fresh off representing South Carolina as the only ballet studio from the state to compete at the 2026 Youth America Grand Prix Finals, Coastal Dance Centre returns to the stage in collaboration with Coastal Youth Ballet Theatre for the annual Spring Festival of Dance.
This inspiring weekend features dancers of all ages and levels in ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, acro, lyrical, and more — from our youngest performers to our advanced Conservatory, Elite Conservatory, and award-winning Competition Team dancers.
Known by many through our beloved annual production of The Nutcracker, CDC and CYBT are proud to share the year-round training, artistry, discipline, and heart that define our dancers.

The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren't the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that "Anything can happen if you let it."
